Yocco Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Yocco ("the Application") is a professional iOS-based video watermarking tool designed to help users add personalized watermarks to videos. We ("the Developer") are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of any information related to your use of the Application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (or do not collect) when you use the Application, how we handle that information, and the steps we take to safeguard your privacy. By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Unlike many applications, Yocco does not require account registration, login credentials, or access to personal data to function. You can use all core features of the Application—including importing videos, customizing watermarks, and managing watermarked content—without providing any personal information. We do not engage in data mining, tracking, or profiling of users, and we do not share any user-related information with third parties (because no such information is collected in the first place).

3. Local Processing of Video and Watermark Data

All video processing and watermark-related activities occur locally on your iOS device. The Application uses localization processing technology, which means:

• When you import videos from your device’s album or file storage (supporting MP4 format), those videos remain stored on your device and are never uploaded to the Developer’s servers or any third-party servers.
• Watermark customization data (such as size adjustments, color selections, font styles, and positioning settings) is stored locally on your device only. This data is used solely to generate the watermarked video and to support the Application’s intelligent record management feature (which lets you track past watermarked videos and their parameters).
• The final watermarked videos you create are saved directly to your device’s storage. We do not have access to these videos, and they are not shared with any external parties unless you choose to share them through other applications or platforms (a process entirely controlled by you).

No video files, watermark settings, or usage data (e.g., how often you use the Application, which features you use) are transmitted off your device. This ensures that your content remains private and under your complete control.

4. Permissions and How We Use Them

To provide its core functionality, the Application may request limited permissions from your iOS device. These permissions are used exclusively to enable local features and do not involve data collection or transmission:

• Photo Library Access: The Application may request access to your device’s photo library to allow you to import videos for watermarking. This access is used only to read the videos you select (for local processing) and to save the final watermarked videos back to your library. We do not access or view any other content in your photo library beyond the videos you explicitly choose to process.
• File Access: If you import videos from your device’s file storage, the Application may request access to specific files or folders. This access is limited to the files you select and is used solely for local video processing. No files are copied, stored, or transmitted outside your device.

You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time through your device’s settings. Revoking permissions may limit the Application’s ability to import or save videos, but will not affect other non-permission-dependent features.

5. Management of Local Data

All data generated or used by the Application (including imported videos, watermark settings, and the intelligent record management logs) is stored locally on your device. You have full control over this data:

• You can delete watermarked videos directly from your device’s photo library or file storage at any time.
• The Application’s record management logs (which track past watermarked videos and their parameters) can be cleared within the Application (if the feature is available) or will be permanently deleted if you uninstall the Application from your device.
• Uninstalling the Application will remove all locally stored watermark settings and record management data associated with the Application. It will not delete the original or watermarked videos you saved to your device’s storage (those must be deleted separately through your device’s native tools).

6. Security of Local Data

While the Application does not transmit data to external servers, we take steps to help protect the local data stored on your device:

• The Application uses standard iOS security features to help prevent unauthorized access to its local data. However, the overall security of your device (and the data stored on it) also depends on your device’s security settings (e.g., passcode, Face ID, Touch ID) and your use of secure practices (e.g., not sharing your device with unauthorized users).
• We do not provide additional encryption for local data beyond what is built into the iOS operating system. For sensitive videos, we recommend using your device’s native security features to protect access to your photo library or file storage.

Please note that no security measures are completely foolproof. We cannot guarantee the security of data stored on your device if your device is lost, stolen, or compromised by malware or unauthorized access.

7. Third-Party Services

The Application does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user information. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics) that track user behavior.
• Advertising networks that display ads or collect data for targeted advertising.
• Social media platforms or sharing services that access user data.

We do not use third-party SDKs (Software Development Kits) that collect or transmit user data. This ensures that your use of the Application is not subject to the privacy policies of third parties.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Application’s features or our privacy practices. When we make changes, we will post the revised Policy within the Application (e.g., in the "Privacy" or "About" section) and update the effective date at the end of this Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.

Your continued use of the Application after the revised Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the revised Policy, please stop using the Application and uninstall it from your device.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (and, as noted earlier, we do not collect any personal information from users of any age). If we become aware that a child under 13 has used the Application, we will not have any data to delete (since no data is collected), but we encourage parents or guardians to monitor their children’s use of mobile applications and to uninstall the Application if they believe it is inappropriate for their child.
